Dhime Class

Dhime Class – Preserving Newah Heritage

Nepalese Association of Northern California (NANC), in collaboration with the Newah Organization of America Northern California (NOANC), is proud to launch Dhime Classes at the Nepali Community Center (NCC), Richmond, California.

The Dhime is a traditional Newar drum, central to Newari festivals, rituals, and celebrations. Through this program, we aim to pass on the knowledge of Dhime playing to the younger generation, strengthen cultural identity, and celebrate the richness of Newari heritage in the Bay Area.
